This is my selfie, I overlaid it with 4 transparent photos. I chose to not overlay my face with any photos because the lighting of my selfie made all attempts to overlay on image on my face fail. The images overlaying my selfie highlight my love of the outdoors as well as my connection to technology. The nature photographs overlaying my selfie highlight my enjoyment of the outdoors and nature, The telephone pole highlights my connection to technology.
For my double exposure image I took two landscape photos both involving oceans because I enjoy going to the beach. I used one of the images to cover my hoodie. I made sure that the general shape of the hoodie was still visible after editing the image. For the Image covering my face I made sure that the image was emphasized more than my facial features. I made sure to keep my eyes, eyebrows, and my noses' general shape in the photo. If you compare the double exposure photograph with the selfie project from the start of the trimester you will see a number of differences. Most of the differences between the double exposure image and selfie are because my proficiency in photoshop has risen a large amount since the start of the trimester. In my original selfie project many of the elements look out of place and I had some difficulty selecting myself in the image, this created visible lines where there was no effect but there should have been. In my double exposure photograph you will see no such lines because I have learned new ways to select a specific element in an image. In my selfie project at the beginning of the trimester the landscape images look like they were simply placed on top of the image, in this double exposure the aded images look as if they are part of the image. The double exposure is meant to brig out a sense of wonder in the viewer.
